How to get involved in London's fastest growing studio theatre... The Tabard is in an exciting stage of its development. We now have a fully refurbished theatre and a brand new Front of House area and a line-up of thrilling, hilarious and generally brilliant professional show. To ensure we keep providing one of the best small theatre experiences for audiences and performers alike we need your help. In particular, we are looking for volunteers in the following areas: Front of house Enthusiastic and friendly ushers are required to welcome audience members to the theatre and keep everything professional and safe. An excellent chance to become part of the team, gain experience of working in a theatre and see shows for free.
Duty Managers Responsible individuals required to oversee the building during performances. You get the chance to co-ordinate front of house staff and liaise with visiting companies and artists as well as working with members of the public and helping build the Tabard's growing reputation.
Marketing We need people to get the word out and develop our audiences. Varied responsibilities from distributing promotional material and meeting the public to developing and managing friends schemes and other initiatives. A great introduction to arts marketing.
Technicians and Stage Managers The Tabard is always on the look-out for Technicians and Stage Managers who are able to lend their services to incoming shows and maintaining the theatre. Another great chance to be part of the team and gain useful experience.
