Alan Lane -Selector

Alan Lane is the director of Slung Low theatre company, a cross-discipline devising company specialising in emerging artists work and development. They are based at the Theatre in the Mill, Bradford. Upcoming Slung Low projects include 1139 miles (a twenty artist strong theatre installation) and a commission from Merseyside Young People’s Theatre.

He was Resident Assistant Director at the West Yorkshire Playhouse (2005-2006) where he assisted Ian Brown on Twelfth Night and Alice in Wonderland and directed Bus by Mark Kirkby. He also directed the Croatian language version of Safety by Chris Thorpe for the Playhouse at the National Theatre of Croatia, Osijeck.
